Well I hadn't really wanted a puppy but staff prevailed and I adopted this really sweet little girl I named Candie. She is now a year old and she is the best dog ever. Actually that's not really true, I have had some terrific dogs through the years but she really is wonderful and the best and only dog I have now. Through all the puppy period and the pee and poop in not so good spots we perservered. We both had to demonstrate paitence with each other; lots of it.
You forget how much work a puppy is and of course she never knew what the expectations would be of a house dog. The bottom line is this; You get into anything (including a pet) exactly what you put into it. No pain no gain........... End result is we have a GREAT addition to each others life and I am so happy to be sharing my home, life, family and friends with her.
If you have been thinking about acquiring a new pet please check out our shelter or any shelter 1st. So many wonderful animals could use your help, you kindness and a loving forever home. www.carr.org/humane Come see us and generally Candie is in the front office to say Hi.
